The Narragansett Council is trying to get back in touch with Eagle Scouts from the area, both those that are still involved with Scouting and those "lost" Eagles who are not. We're trying to help spread the word here to Cachalot alums.

Especially for "lost" Eagles, but also for Eagles originally from this area but involved with Scouting elsewhere, they've put up a survey on DoubleKnot (an online provider used by many Scout councils for online registrations, mailing lists, and the like) for interested folks to supply their contact information to be sent info on Eagle Scout-oriented events. If you're an Eagle Scout, you can fill out this survey here:

http://www.doubleknot.com/form/formjump.asp?bidx=0&surveyID=1666&OrgKey=1213

The first of these events will be the 2006 Gathering of Eagles, which the Council is hosting on Thursday, May 4th, 2006, 5:00pm, at the Squantum Association in Riverside, RI. It's a free event, but you do need to register. More information (a 100K PDF file, sorry) is available from the Council web site here, or you can get more info and register online via DoubleKnot at the following address:

http://www.doubleknot.com/registration/calendardetail.asp?ActivityKey=134642

If you have other questions, you can contact Tom Slavicek at the Council via email at tslavicek@narragansettbsa.org.

(Shameless plug: and while you're at it -- did you know you can register online for membership in the Cachalot Alumni Association, just by clicking here?) Wink
