Order of the Arrow Pavilion Construction

Our Order of the Arrow lodge, Tulpe Lodge, was the recipient this year of a grant being used to extend the awning at Noquochoke Lodge to form the new "Order of the Arrow Pavilion, in honor of Robert LeComte". When they were applying for the grant, they needed to show other financial support for the project, and approached the Alumni Association. We've contributed $3,000 from our Project Fund to help them with this endeavor. Ground was broken on August 2rd to extend the foundation of the building.

In addition to our financial support, any Alumni who can lend a hand are encouraged to come out to Cachalot on the construction days for the project, which will be the week of August 21, 2017 through August 26, 2017 (the Friday and Saturday will overlap with the Cachalot Ordeal Weekend.) People interested in volunteering can contact Lodge Lay Adviser David Paulson at david.paulson.245@gmail.com or our Projects Chairman, Fred Barreiros, at projects@cachalotalumni.org. Carpentry or construction experience is of course helpful, but is not necessary. Arrowmen and non-Arrowmen are both welcome.
