In 1946, Camp Cachalot opened its gates for its very first season of summer camp. In 2005, we're celebrating two milestones: the 60th consecutive season of summer camp at Cachalot, and the very first Homecoming for the Camp Cachalot Alumni Association! So, mark your calendars for Saturday, July 9th, and plan on spending a day with us at Camp! The event costs $20 for members of the Alumni Association, $25 for non-members. Read on for details on how to register. All of the members of the Camp Cachalot family are welcome, as is everyone who's ever had anything to do with the former Moby Dick, Cachalot, or Massasoit Councils or their predecessors.

You should plan on arriving at Camp between 12:00 noon and 1:00pm, and the day's program runs until 8:00pm. If it's been a while since you've visited, we have directions for you. We'll get the day started at the Boathouse with a brief social, then move into the rest of the activities for the afternoon. Historical tours of Camp will be available (including transportation, should you require it), members of this year's summer camp staff will be on-hand to show you what's happening this summer, and we'll wrap the day up with a barbecue dinner in our dining facility, Prescott Hall, followed by a campfire in the Council Ring.

Registration Details

You can register for the day by sending a check for payment to the Association at:
