Nominations are open for the first-ever inductions into the Cachalot Wall of Fame! For more information, and to download a nomination form, head on over to our Wall of Fame information page. Everything you need to know about eligibility, making nominations, who gets to vote, and the election process is there.

The first induction ceremony will take place at Homecoming 2010, on July 10th out at Cachalot, so save the date!

We need to know who you, our members, think is deserving of a spot on the Wall, so please, try to put your best nominations forward today. Nominations this year are open until March 15th, 2010. Anyone can nominate, but to vote you must be a registered member, so sign up for membership or renew your membership today! (And if you don't know if you're registered, drop an email to membership@cachalotalumni.org and we'll look you up.)

The (admittedly, poorly-named) Fall 2009 issue of the Cachaletter is in the mail to our registered members now. Hard to believe that we're on our tenth issue already! As always, you can grab a PDF copy of the issue online on Cachaletter page here on the web site.

Finally, fellow Cachalot alumni Mike Vieira has completed his self-pulished history of Camp Noquochoke. I was lucky enough to get an early copy, and it's a great read. Mike is using the proceeds from sale of the book to establish a campership in memory of one of his fellow Noquochoke staffers and to help support the Association, and for that we thank him. We've put up a page for the book, with links to the site he's selling the book from (and you might have noticed the 'ad' on our front page). Check it out!
